Accessibility Statement

MAPKA is operated personally by Alex Bezrodny. We aim to make the website usable by people with disabilities and are working toward applicable Israeli Standard 5568 and WCAG Level AA requirements. This is a commitment and progress statement, not a claim of certification or full conformance.

What we have provided

The website offers keyboard-operable menus, form labels, visible keyboard focus, a skip-to-content link, text alternatives for principal controls, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion support where practical. The resort picker and piste search provide text ways to explore beyond the visual map. The legal pages can be read without JavaScript.

Known limitations

The interactive 3D map, terrain inspection, elevation chart, draggable markers, route simulation and some third-party map controls may be difficult or impossible to use fully with a screen reader or keyboard alone. Map imagery and geographic detail cannot be completely represented by text. We have not completed a comprehensive independent accessibility audit, and further issues may exist. We are prioritizing fixes and alternative text-based information.

If you cannot access information or a feature, email abezrodx@gmail.com with the page, device or assistive technology used, the problem and the information you need. You may write in English or Hebrew. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative and address the issue. Please do not include sensitive medical details unless necessary for your request.
